procedureis:

Placethe paper guidein positionby insertingthe tabs,locatedon the
bottomof the assembly,intothe slotson the rear coverof the printer.
Checkthatprinterpoweris off andthe releaseleveris down.
Openthetopcover,thenmovethebailleverontopof theprinterfonvard
to openthepaperbail.
Adjustthe paper guidesto matchthe size of paper you will be using.
Rememberthatprintingwillstartsomedistancefromtheleft-handedge
of the carriage.
Placea singlesheetbetweenthe guides,placingthe sideon whichyou
wanttoprinttowardsthebackoftheprinter.Gentlypushthepaperdown
in the guidesuntilyou feelit stop.
Turntheplatenknobclockwiseuntilthefrontedgeof thepapercomes
outfromunderthe top cover.
If the paper is not straight, move the release lever forward, then
straightenthe paperby handandmovethe releaseleverback down.
Movethe bailleverbackto closethepaperbail.
