ADJUSTING THE PRINTING GAP

The distance between the print head and the platen can be adjustedto

accommodatedifferentpaperthicknesses.Tomakethisadjustment,remove

thetopcover.Theadjustmentleverislocatedneartherightendofthepaper

bail. Pulling the adjustmentlever upwardsnarrows the gap; pushing it

downwardswidensthe gap.

Thereare fivepositions;youcan feeltheleverclickingintoeachposition.

Thesecondpositionfromthetopistheonemostcommonlyusedfor single

sheetsofpaper.Trydifferentpositionsuntilyougetthebestprintingresults.
