Adjustthespacingofthetractorunitsbyslidingthemalongthebar,using
the clamp lever at the back of each unit to release and lock them in
position.Whentheclampleverisup,theunitis released,andwhenit is
down,theunitis locked.
Nowclosethetractorcovers,againmakingsurethatthepaperholesare
alignedwiththepinsonthetractorunits.Iftheyarenotalignedproperly,
you.willhaveproblemswithpaperfeeding,possiblyresultingintearing
andjammingof thepaper.
10.Turnonthepowerusingtheswitchlocatedatthefrontoftheprinter.The
printerwillbeep,indicatingthat the paperis not yet fullyloaded.The
orange
POWERindicatorwill alsoflashto confirm this.
11.Nowpressthe C

) button.Thepaperwillbe fed and’adjusted
past theprinthead to a positionreadyforprinting.
12.If youwantto setthepaperto adifferentposition,setthepnnteroff-line
by pressingthe(
ON
LINE
)
button,then set the paper by using the
micro-feedfunction.(For details,referto Chapter2.)
13.Replacethe rear cover, and mountthe paper guide in the horizontal
positionshownin Figure 1-14,so thatit willseparatetheprintedfrom
the unprintedpaper.
