7. Nowclosethetractorcovers,againmakingsurethatthepaperholesare
alignedwiththepinsonthetractorunits.Iftheyarenotalignedp~operly,
youwillhaveproblemswithpaperfeeding,possiblyresultingintearing
andjammingof thepaper.
8. Remountthe rollerunitandreplacethe rearcoverandthetop cover.
Paperparking
Afier loading fanfold paper from the rear of the printer, you do not have to
unload it when you want to print on a single sheet. The printer will “park”
it for you if you follow the procedure below.
1. To begin paper parking, start with power ON, fanfold paper loaded in
printing position,
andthe releaseleverforward.
2. Pressthe(
ON LINE }buttononthecontrolpanelto settheprinteroff-
line.ON
LINEindicator willturnoff.
3. Tearoff the printedformat thelast perforation,leavingnot morethan
abouthalf a pageshowingabovethe top cover.If necessary,pressthe
(PAPERFEED] buttonto feedpaperforwarduntilaperforationislocated
just abovethetop cover,andtearthere.
4. Pressthe (

> buttonon the controlpanel.
.Theprinterwillautomaticallyfeedthefanfoldformbackwarduntilthe
paperis completelyfreeof theplaten.
