BIDIRECTIONAL TEST/ADJUSTMENT MODE
Thismodeis used to adjustthe alignmentof the print headon successive
bidirectionalpasses.Aftera periodof somemonths,yourprintermaywork
itselfoutof alignmenton left and rightprintingpasses.This willbe most
evidentin NLQprinting.Thismodewillprobablybe usedvery rarely.
1. Turn the printeroff and then turn it on againwhileholdingdown the

) and (
ON
LINE
)
buttons.The printer will then print
somethinglike the following:
2. The printer will feed the paper forwardsand backwardsduring this
operation,allowingyouto viewthepaperfor optimumalignment.
3. To adjustthepnnting,usethe( ..A

)and (PAPERFEED) buttons.
The(

)button will move the second pass to the left. The
(PAPERFEED) buttonwillmovethe secondpassto the right.
